1Who is responsible for your data

West End Lottery Ltd ("WEL") is the data controller for your data. WEL operates the sign-up and entry platform and decides how your data is collected and used.

Tim Johanson Productions LTD (the "Promoter"), the producer of Mona Loser, uses your data only under a limited licence from WEL. The Promoter may use it solely to contact you about Mona Loser, and only for the duration of the Mona Loser project. The Promoter cannot use your data for any other show or purpose.

WEL is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration ZC169928, at 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ.

2What we collect

What we collect depends on how you came to us.

Mailing list sign-up. Your first name, your last name if you give it, your email address, your consent choices (section 4), and basic context about the visit: the page you arrived from and any campaign tags in the link you clicked.

Prize draw entry (the draw closed on 22 June 2026). Your first and last name, your email address, the performances you told us you could attend, any access requirements you chose to share, and your consent choices.

We do not collect payment details. Ticket payment happens directly with Southwark Playhouse and their box office.

3Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To send you Mona Loser news and updates: consent. Ticking the box on the sign-up form is that consent, and we store the exact wording you agreed to alongside your record.
• To run the prize draw and email entrants the result: our legitimate interests in running a draw you asked to enter and telling you the outcome. The draw closed on 22 June 2026.

4Marketing and updates

The sign-up form has one opt-in. Its only purpose is joining the Mona Loser list, so ticking the box is how you join, and you can unsubscribe at any time (section 7). We will not use your details for any other show or add you to any other list.

If you entered the Mona Loser prize draw before it closed on 22 June 2026, your entry carried a single combined opt-in covering both the draw and Mona Loser updates. You can unsubscribe from those updates at any time using the link in every email.

5Who we share it with

• Southwark Playhouse for winners, to arrange and book tickets and any access needs.
• Our hosting and database providers, which store and process records on our behalf as data processors (see section 8).
• Our email provider, to send the updates you have consented to.

We do not sell your data.

6How long we keep it

• Mailing list records: kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. We then keep a minimal suppression record, your email address only, so that we do not add you back by mistake.
• Prize draw entry data: kept for 12 months from the date of the draw, then deleted.

7Your rights

You can ask us to: see the data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; object to how we use it; withdraw consent; or unsubscribe from any updates (every marketing email also carries an unsubscribe link). To exercise any of these, email hello@westendlottery.com

You can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

8Where your data is stored

Sign-up and entry records are held by our database provider on servers in the EU/UK. Our email provider processes your name and email address in the United States. That transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to count page views. It does not set cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and does not collect anything that identifies you personally.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post any changes on monaloser.com with a revised "last updated" date.
